Organizing Your Code @ SXSW

It's that time of year again, SXSW panel voting. We're trying to get this panel voted into SXSW this year, and here's why:

As a developer, I want to write the best code that I can. If somebody else has to work on a project after me, I hope that they're not cursing me for poorly written and organized code. That being said, I'm also not very fond of inheriting bad code either. I don't like being the one upset because I have to wade through lines and lines of code sludge to find a bug or add a new feature.

There's a great post about this right now on .net Magazine by my friend (and panel organizer) @scottlenger.

So, we're planning a discussion on this for SXSW next year. What's that? You're not going, but you want to be in on the conversation? Don't worry, if our panel gets picked, there are sure to be blog posts and lots of tweets. We'll try to keep you updated about keeping your code clean when there are lots of cooks in your kitchen.

So, do you want to be part of this conversation?

Please vote for our panel and help send me to SXSW to talk about how we can do this better.
